The PCAN-MiniDisplay made by PEAK-System Technik is product that serves as a human-machine interface (HMI) for the visualization of CAN data. Both a high-speed and a single-wire CAN connector are provided to interface to the CAN bus. Received CAN data is graphically represented on a TFT display based on the configuration that is stored on the unit during the initial setup process.

In addition to displaying CAN data the PCAN-miniDisplay also supports CAN message logging. The data traffic is recorded to a microSD memory card which then can be analyzed on a PC later.

The PEAK PCAN-miniDisplay is available as an OEM-able version for direct insertion into customer designs but also with a plastic enclosure and push buttons. This latter option can be used to create and evaluate application-specific configurations. Furthermore, the user can switch between different configurations during operation.
