Universal I/O Module with CAN Interface
Please note: The product is expected to be available only until the end of 2024. If you need larger quantities over a longer time, please use the long-term available I/O modules of the PCAN-MicroMod FD series for your new projects.
The PEAK PCAN-MicroMod is a subminiature (32 x 36 mm) insert-ready CAN node for OEM designs requiring a single regulated 5 VDC power supply. The integrated firmware allows for simple configuration of the target system with a Windows utility program. The configuration data is sent to the module via CAN. Up to 32 PCAN-MicroMods can be integrated in a single CAN network. Each individual module can be networked via CANbus, thus enabling its configuration data to be read, modified and stored.
A PCAN-MicroMod evaluation board is also available to simplify the development of custom application boards and firmware development. In addition, Analog 1&2 , Digital 1&2 , Mix 1&2 and Mix 3 PCAN-MicroMod motherboards are available which are application-ready CAN or CANopen I/O devices for use in a wide variety of distributed I/O systems.
