CAN ROUTERS

CAN Routers are specialized devices designed to manage and route data traffic within and between Controller Area Network (CAN) bus systems.

They act as intelligent bridges, enabling communication between distinct CAN segments, even if those segments operate at different bit rates or use different CAN protocols. These routers often feature multiple CAN interfaces, allowing them to connect various parts of a system, such as different electronic control units (ECUs) in a vehicle or industrial machinery. Beyond simple message forwarding, many Peak CAN Routers offer advanced functionalities like message filtering, ID remapping, data logging, and even scripting capabilities, which allow for complex data manipulation and conditional routing rules, enhancing the flexibility and efficiency of CAN-based communication networks.
